Highlights

The PMI Global Summit Series Seoul brought together more than 500 executives and project professionals from 40 countries to explore the future of project leadership in an increasingly complex, technology-driven world. The Summit provided a global platform for knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and collaboration among project professionals across industries and regions.

A highlight of the event was the panel discussion, “The Gigaproject Reality: Why Collaboration Drives Success Beyond Control”, moderated by Hanny Alshazly, PMI Regional Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa, alongside Ben Breen and Boon Cheat Yew. The discussion explored how today’s largest and most complex projects require collaborative leadership, adaptive governance, and strong stakeholder alignment rather than traditional command-and-control approaches.

Throughout the Summit, speakers examined the growing influence of artificial intelligence, the future of infrastructure, and the leadership capabilities needed to deliver large-scale transformation initiatives. The event reinforced that successful project leaders must combine technology, collaboration, and strategic thinking to create sustainable value in an increasingly dynamic environment.
