1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the PMI Lebanon Chapter website. By using the website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Who runs this website
This website is run by PMI Lebanon Chapter, the Lebanese chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI). It is the Chapter’s own website, not an official website of PMI. PMI’s official website is PMI.org.
3. Website content
Content on this website is general information about the Chapter, its events, learning, community and news. We work to keep it accurate, but details can change: events marked TBC are not yet confirmed, and dates, speakers and venues may be updated. Please check the relevant event page before you rely on it.
PMI Global is the source of truth for membership options and prices, certifications, eligibility and PDU rules. We link to PMI.org for these rather than repeating them, and you should confirm current details there.
4. Forms and messages
When you use a form on this website, please give accurate information and do not send confidential or sensitive details. Sending a form does not register you for an event, make you a member, commit you to volunteering or create any agreement with the Chapter. How we handle what you send is explained in our Privacy Notice.
- Sign-ups for updates: signing up means you agree to receive the Chapter updates described next to the form. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Award nominations: nominate only people, teams or projects you genuinely believe deserve the award, and share only what is needed to explain your nomination. Sending a nomination does not guarantee that it will be shortlisted or win; the awards committee and jury decide, and their decisions are final.
- Member Insights articles: when you propose an article, you confirm that it is your own work and that you have the right to share anything it includes. If we publish it, we may edit it for length and clarity with your agreement, and it will appear with your name. You keep the rights to your article.
- Mentorship and interest groups: applying does not guarantee a mentor match or a place in a group. Taking part may be subject to the program or group guidelines the Chapter shares with participants.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the website in a way that breaks the law or another person’s rights;
- send spam, misleading, offensive or malicious material through its forms;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the website or interfere with how it works;
- copy the website’s content in bulk or present it as your own.
6. Intellectual property and trademarks
Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, logos and photographs on this website belong to PMI Lebanon Chapter or are used with permission. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with a credit to the Chapter; please contact us before reusing anything else.
“PMI”, the PMI logo, “PMP”, “CAPM”, “PMI-ACP”, “PMBOK” and “PMI Talent Triangle” are registered marks of Project Management Institute, Inc. Other names and logos belong to their respective owners.
7. Links and directories
We link to other websites, including PMI.org and our partners, for your convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.
The Authorized Training Partners directory is a service to the community. Providers manage their own courses, prices and arrangements, and being listed is not an endorsement of a provider or course.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PMI Lebanon Chapter is not responsible for loss arising from reliance on incomplete, outdated or unavailable content on this website, or from third-party websites and services. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot legally be limited.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last updated, and the version published here is the one that applies.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon.
11. Contact
For any question about these terms, contact the Chapter through the contact form.
