Why this session matters

In today’s job market, years of experience are no longer enough to stand out. Recruiters and companies look beyond past titles and responsibilities to the value you bring, and that is where personal branding and digital visibility play a major role. A strong brand on LinkedIn and in your résumé shows not only what you have done but why you matter.

Session overview

Introduced by Paul Awkar, VP of Professional Development, Chirine El Baba spent 60 minutes on how senior professionals present themselves. She explained how the global hiring landscape has shifted toward value branding and strategic digital visibility, walked through the five most common branding missteps on résumés and LinkedIn, and showed how to fix them with globally recognized frameworks such as PAR/CAR and role-based branding.

Participants then took the 10-second brand test, a guided self-assessment of brand clarity from a recruiter’s perspective, before a Q&A with strategic takeaways and a call to action for personalized brand audits aligned with international standards.
