The Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS) have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening project management education and preparing students for successful careers in an increasingly project-driven world.
The agreement reflects a shared commitment to providing students with greater access to internationally recognized project management knowledge, professional development opportunities, and industry engagement. Through this collaboration, PMI and MUBS will work together to promote lifelong learning, innovation, and leadership while helping students develop the practical skills and global mindset needed to succeed in today’s evolving workplace.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Nael Alami, Vice President at MUBS, and PMI, represented by Ms. Dania Chaar, PMI MENA Chapter Engagement Specialist, on behalf of Mr. Hanny Alshazly, PMI Regional Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa.
The ceremony was attended by Ms. Riam Chazbeck, President of the PMI Lebanon Chapter, Mr. Paul Awkar, Vice President of Professional Development, and Ms. Sarah Abou Hamdan, Vice President of Membership, whose efforts helped facilitate this collaboration.
This latest agreement reflects PMI’s continued investment in higher education across Lebanon and the MENA region, creating stronger links between universities, professional practice, and the future workforce.
