Jouzour Loubnan: Best Practices in Risk Management

The Chapter delivered an online introductory workshop on Best Practices in Risk Management for Jouzour Loubnan’s project managers and project staff. Participants gained a clear understanding of core risk management concepts, including risk management plans, and learned practical methods to identify, assess, and track risks and opportunities using a risk register. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive: all respondents rated the session 4 or 5 out of 5 for usefulness and clarity and expressed a strong intent to apply what they learned in their projects.

Rushd Association: Essentials of Project Planning

In Tripoli, coordinators and teachers from the Rushd Association for Development and Training took part in an online session on the Essentials of Project Planning, tailored for teams at the start of their project management journey. The session introduced the Work Breakdown Structure and gave practical guidance on creating and updating one to keep project activities on track and roles clearly defined. Several participants then expressed interest in preparing for the CAPM® exam.

Lebanon Reforestation Initiative: The PMP® Certification

On December 8, six team members from the Lebanon Reforestation Initiative attended an in-person information session on the PMP® certification at the organization’s headquarters in Jdeideh. The session highlighted the value and cross-industry relevance of the PMP® credential, reviewed the exam’s eligibility requirements, and introduced key study resources and preparation options available through PMI. With strong encouragement from the organization’s director, all six participants committed to pursuing the PMP® certification in 2026.
